MassMutual SpecialCare
Equestrian Therapy at Equest
This testimonial-style video was created to spotlight the transformative partnership between Equest, a Dallas-based nonprofit offering equine-assisted therapy, and MassMutual’s SpecialCare program, which provides resources for families with dependents who have special needs. Equest serves clients as young as two years old, delivering life-changing support for individuals with physical, intellectual, and emotional disabilities—including veterans and children with autism.
Our goal was to create a piece that not only documented the therapeutic impact of equine-assisted activities but also emotionally connected viewers to the deeply human stories behind them. Through intimate interviews and immersive visuals, the video showcases how Equest and SpecialCare work together to be the "missing piece" for families seeking hope and healing.
I led the art direction from initial concepting through to post-production, working closely with my creative team to ensure visual storytelling aligned with the campaign’s heartfelt tone. I was also on-site during production, ensuring our creative vision came to life authentically. When we faced last-minute post-production hurdles, I stepped in as emergency editor, finishing the piece on-time and under budget.
This project was a powerful reminder of the impact thoughtful design and storytelling can have—especially when it helps bring attention to organizations making a tangible difference.
